Healthy Weight Loss and Body Fitness for Optimal Health and Wellbeing

I have created this blog for all of us who want to get Healthy and Fit for a Happier Life and Wellbeing.:)

We all have different reasons for our weight problem, so there a different solutions for everybody. So i will write articles and post full books to read for anything related to Healthy Weight loss and Fitness for a Healthier and Happier You.

My weight problem is that i would only eat one meal a day about an hour before bed, i did this for about 30 years. Not because i was trying to lose weight but because that was when i would get hungry so that's when i would eat. Unfortunately what this did was put my body into starvation mode, so my body was storing fat instead of burning fat. So over the years even thought i was working as a labor and getting good exercise at work, i would never lose weight i would just gain weight because of starvation mode. I found this out when my doctor made me an appointment to see a weight loss specialist. I explained to him my eating habit and that is when he told me about starvation mode and why i could not lose weight. He informed me that i needed to start eating 3 full meals and 2 snacks a day and to wright down each meal i ate that day to monitor myself to make sure i am eating more each day. Since i have been doing this slowly as i still have days where i go back to eating one meal a day but i eat that meal about an hour or so after i get home now instead of an hour before bed. My best days are when i can eat 3 meals a day as that is when i lose the weigh as my metabolism is working at its best. I had lost 30 lbs over time as my weight would fluctuate between days of eating less and days of less activity. Even though i still fluctuate about 5-10 lbs in my weight loss i have never gone back to my original weight of 260 lbs.

The key to any Healthy life style is to find what works for you and work on sticking to it. We all have days where we fall back to what was comfortable and that is fine once in awhile but never give up and strive to be a Happier Healthy You :)
